Singer Philip Ret Last Friday (15th) he released the DVD FRXV, which celebrates his 15 year career. The project kicks off the special tour that Ret presents in Brazil in 2024. Recorded over two fantastic evenings in Youth Arenato the Rio de Janeirothe rapper presented a show full of technology and special guests, in front of more than 25 thousand people.
To the audience’s surprise, in a special moment of the evening, the singer performed the new song Free love. The preview of the song already has tens of millions of views on social platforms.
With the creative direction of Tito Sabatini and musical Duani, Philip Ret he arrived on stage conducting his own McLaren to the sound of Defendants. He was welcomed by the Rocinha Music School Choir and enthusiastic fans, who filled every seat in the venue.
In a bold spectacle, the stage featured three large vertical screens, more than 900 lighting fixtures, flame machines, 22 meters of catwalk and a 15 meter front stage, with a floor made of an LED screen, offering a new visual experience for those who attended the presentations from the space stands. And one of the biggest surprises of the evening was the stage rising and floating above the audience on the floor, moving closer to the stands. This happens during the performance of three songs.
Accompanied by a new line-up of his band, Philip Ret he presented reinterpretations of songs that marked his career and also received an important team as guests: Mãolee, BK, TZ da Coronel, MaruD2, Djonga AND Delacruzas well as his record label partners Not bad – Pj, Anezzi, Dallas, Maneirinho AND Caio Luccass.

The DVD contains 35 songs, spanning Filipe Ret’s 15-year career, in a two-hour presentation, the longest in the rapper’s career. Moving from boombap, to trap, to acoustic and afrobeat, Ret was accompanied by the new lineup of his band, with eleven members, a first in trap. In a special moment, the singer also presented the new song Free love. Another exciting point of the show was the participation of the artist’s son, Theo6 years old, who went on stage and made the singer cry. “We immortalized this night in an incredible audiovisual. And the anticipation is already high to leave next year and do the 15 Years Special tour throughout Brazil”, adds the rapper.
