The year 2023 was, in fact, extraordinary for the singer Uriah. In addition to launching the His mindhis second album, he introduced the public to the Blossom Edition (deluxe version of the project), a vinyl and merch that sold out in a few days. The artist toured the country with the Flores Era tour and took his music to major festivals. To a great year, a noteworthy conclusion: Urias is now featured on the magazine’s commemorative December cover Whim.
With a fashion mood that invites us on a journey to the 2000s, Urias revisited his past and told it in an interview conducted by the editor-in-chief of WhimAndrĂ©a Martinelli, on her fond memories with the magazine. “At the time I didn’t have the money to always buy copies. So I remember that I bought them every month and could only get another one after a while”the artist reflected as he prepared to arrive at the publication that was part of his adolescence.
A strong team participated in the production. The photos were taken by Caia Ramalho and styled by Yumi Kurita. In the beauty sector, Camila Anac took care of the make-up, while Rafaella Schlindwein took care of the hair. The artistic direction was handled by Jotave, designer of Capricho. The digital edition can be seen on the Capricho website and also on the GoRead app, by Editora Abril.
