The band Paramore cleaned up their social media, even deleted their Instagram profile picture, and announced the cancellation of a show scheduled for January 13, at the iHeartRadio ALTer EGO festival in Los Angeles.
In a statement published on Thursday evening (4/1) in the stories, the band wrote: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Paramore will no longer be able to participate and perform at the iHeartRadio ALTer EGO on January 13th. The band apologizes for any inconvenience.”
Subsequently, the page was reset and the message is no longer online.
The trio of singer Hayley Williams, guitarist Taylor York and drummer Zac Farro headlined the festival and will be replaced at the last minute by Fall Out Boy.
All posts and images of the band were deleted from social media shortly after Christmas. To top it off, the official website is also down.
It’s worth mentioning that Paramore is an attraction at Lollapalooza Brasil, with a show scheduled for March 23.
