The Civil Police confirmed the death country singer Ton Ferreira, who passed away a week ago. The body of the 34-year-old artist was found this Friday morning (12) in São José dos Campos, in the hinterland of São Paulo.
According to information released by G1, Ton’s body was found in an abandoned lot in the Cajuru I neighborhood, located in the eastern area of the municipality. The body was transported to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) by the municipal body (Urbam), which intervened after the discovery.
Police say there are signs of suicide. The case was registered as “suspicious death” and “reasonable doubt as to whether it was suicide” and will continue to be investigated by the 6th DP.

Ton was last seen in the early hours of the 5th in the Jardim Anhembi neighborhood. He played a show at a club, and after finishing the show, he took the keyboard player home and never heard from him again.
