Singer Rodrigo FeitosaAlso known as Rodriguinho, died on Friday the 19th, at the age of 17. The information was released by the municipality of Palmeira dos Índios, in Alagoas, where the musician was born and raised.
In a statement, the city council lamented the death and said Rodriguinho was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Santa Rita Regional Hospital with digestive bleeding.
He would have been transferred to Santa Casa de Misericórdia, in Maceió, but suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest in the ambulance and did not survive. The city declared three days of official mourning.
“Rodriguinho’s death caused a strong emotion in the city, because he radiated joy and was loved by all. To the bereaved family and friends, we offer our sincere condolences and the comfort that only God can offer in this moment of intense pain” , the note states.
The singer accumulated more than 30 thousand followers on social media and was a well-known figure in the municipality located in Agreste do Alagoas. He was a Person with a Disability (PWD) and started singing in school and in the church choir.
Rodriguinho has also shared the stage and recorded videos with big names in national music, such as Mano Walter, Tarcísio do Acordeon, João Gomes and Nattanzinho.
