The American Gloria Vaquerwho was married to the singer-songwriter Raúl Seixas, died this Wednesday (24 years old), at the age of 74, a victim of cancer, in Alabama, United States, where he lived. Gloria was the mother of Scarlet Seixas, one of Raul’s three daughters. The two married between 1974 and 1978.
Gloria played a small role in Raul’s career. She sang with the Brazilian rocker on the song Sun seedsfrom the album New Aeonof 1975, and also sang lead vocals The diaryfrom the disk Raúl Rock Seixas.
Gloria was the sister of Jay Vaquer, a guitarist who played with Raul at the beginning of his career – it was thanks to him that the two met – and aunt of the Brazilian singer Jay Vaquer.
In recent years Gloria had changed its name to Sky Keys.
