Canadian singer Joni Mitchell will perform for the first time in Grandmother 2024, next Sunday, February 4th.
This year she competes in the Best Folk Album category, as well as being awarded Person of the Year.
Considered Canada’s greatest artist and one of music’s living legends, Joni Mitchell won the first Grammy of her career in 1969, in the Best Folk Performance category, for Clouds. The last trophy came in 2002, with Joni MitchellArchives – Vol. 1: The Early Years (1963-1967), chosen as Best Historical Album.
The 80-year-old artist has recovered from a stroke and returned to public appearances.
It is worth mentioning that the 2024 Grammys are broadcast live on TNT and HBO Max.
