Taylor Swift’s new song gets a video with scenes from “A Far Far Away From Here”




As promised, Taylor Swift released her new song “Carolina” in the first minute of this Friday (6/24). In addition, the recording also won a lyric video with scenes from “A Place Far Away From Here”. Created specifically for the film’s soundtrack, the song is the singer’s first original composition from her 2020 album “Evermore”.

In March, when he announced he was making an exclusive song for the feature film, Taylor wrote a lyric about his relationship with the original work: “‘A Place Far Away From Here’ is a book I completely lost myself in when I read years ago. When one of them is found dead, she is hunted down by the police and needs to prove her innocence in front of a population that hates her.

The film stars Daisy Edgar-Jones (“Normal People”), was written by Lucy Alibar (Oscar nominated for “Dark Dreamer”), directed by Olivia Newman (“My First Fight”) and is produced by actress Reese. “Big little lies”).
