Taylor Swift: Artist reveals she didn’t plan to announce new album at the Grammys

Swift announced her 11th studio album during Grammy acceptance speech

This Wednesday, February 7th, during the The Eras Tour in Tokyo. Taylor Swift revealed that he did not intend to announce his new album at the Grammy if he hadn’t won the golden gramophone. The Tortured Poets Department marks the singer’s 11th studio album.

“I had this plan in my head, and I told my friends — I told the Jackbut I hadn’t really told many other people […] I thought, ‘Okay, so if I’m lucky enough to win something tonight, I’ll do it. I’m just going to announce my new album” he said Taylor.

“I told myself that if I’m lucky enough to win something tonight, I’m just going to do it. I’m just going to announce it. My backup plan was that I was going to announce it tonight in Tokyo!” she added.

During this show Swift performed the song “Evermore” as a surprise track and revealed that he is working on his latest album after finishing Midnights.

“I’ve been working on it for about two years, I kept working on it all the way through the US tour. When it was perfect in my opinion — when it was good enough for you — I was done. I’m so, so excited. You’re going to hear it soon. this. Soon we will hear this together […] Everyone asks, ‘Why do you make so many albums?’ It’s like, man, because I love it so much. I’m having fun. Leave me alone.” She finished Taylor.
