She, who has completed 30 years of her carnival career, spoke of “reconsidering and recapitulating”. “What I’m going to do is recap the journey, because, in front of me, I see a portal of incredible opportunities,” she said.

The artist turned to the public to confirm that she is not alone. “And whoever takes care of me doesn’t sleep. […] That’s why yesterday I said that He [Deus] It brought me a transformation and I will transform myself because it will be better for me and for you,” he promised. After facing a series of problems in Carnival in Salvador, Ivete cried and said he was thinking of saying goodbye to the traditional Coruja group. The outburst came after a gas leak interrupted the artist’s performance and the trio had to be evacuated on Monday.

On Saturday 10th, the equipment of the trios that make up the Barra-Ondina circuit broke down and caused a 3-hour delay in exiting the block. He had to ask the public for help so that singer Léo Santana’s trio could get through.

“How will I do it?”, asked the singer above the trio. He even pointed to a man present who was booing the artist: “I wanted to thank him and tell him: feel free. […] No problem, guys. I don’t want to be democratic for myself. I must be democratic for the sake of democracy.”

Ivete said the problems “filled his heart with anguish.” Regarding the delay on the first day, she commented: “I had to obey the rules of the universe. I had to obey because I am a person who is obedient to the rules from above. I am not bigger than the rules from above.”

Subsequently the Bahian artist said that “he will think about it” and spoke of a possible farewell. “Isn’t today our farewell to Coruja block? […] I’m your singer (sic), I’m not a singer who joins the trio and fucks everyone. I do not want it. This doesn’t do me any good,” he told her.

A gas leak interrupted Ivete Sangalo’s trio

On Monday, a gas leak interrupted the singer’s performance on the Barra-Ondina circuit, in the capital of Bahia. At that point the three had to be evacuated. According to the firefighters, there were no injuries.

To the Estadao, the Fire Brigade reported that the accident occurred following a leak in the carbon dioxide cylinder that generates special effects on the electric trio’s stage. The interruption lasted about 5 minutes.

At the time, Ivete commented on the scare he had and joked: “I already thought it was the Dragon Cave (in reference to the cartoon). God forbid”.
