Kristen Stewart: “I want to do the gayest thing you’ve ever seen in your life”

Cover of Rolling Stone US, actress posed in an essay with references to gender fluidity; in the interview, she talked about sexism in Hollywood, ‘Twilight’, personal life and her new role in ‘Love is Bleeding’; Here we separate 10 phrases from the actress

Kirsten Stewart it’s in “the gayest thing you’ve ever seen in your life.” The actress is on the February cover of Rolling Stone USin which he decided, on his own, to emulate his fluid gender identity both in the essay, clicked by Collier Schorras in the interview given to Alex Morris:

“If I went through the whole series Twilight without making a cover Rolling Stone It’s because boys were sex symbols. Now I want to do the gayest thing you’ve ever seen in your life,” said the actress.

On the eve of the premiere of Love is Bleedingwhich hits theaters in the United States on March 8, Kristen gives her opinion on sexism in the industry, which she has faced since her film debut in the early 2000s.

Now, at 33, she turns the tables by playing a gym owner in the romantic thriller A24 directed by Rose Glass. In the film, her character Lou falls in love with a bodybuilder (played by Katy O’Brian), and, as Stewart describes it, “shakes the Coke can, but it explodes and ends up catching everyone.”

“It was really fucking fun to give the little lesbian sister a chance to be the lead in a movie,” Stewart describes the new project.

In the text, journalist Alex Morris describes how Stewart’s preparation for the role, which involves intense kickboxing and yoga training, has altered the actress’s physique:

“Kristen Stewart is strong as fuck and I’m not speaking metaphorically. I’m not, for example, talking about any experience in her past that she has, quote, overcome, like that time she was in those vampire-werewolf movies and was declared the Most Hated Actress in the world for not seeming excited enough while sitting in a room full of journalists to discuss what it was like to make out with her co-workers. Or that other time she was photographed kissing the director much older (and married) than Snow White and the hunter, or even for being banned from the film’s sequel due to the horror it caused. Nor am I talking about the bravery of playing Joan Jett opposite Joan Jett. Or playing Princess Diana in front of a world of spectators. Or the courage it took to come out during Saturday Night Live with a dry response to the nasty tweets of a deranged reality show host-turned-president. In other words, I’m not talking about “strength” as the golden description given to famous women who don’t crack at the labels society applies to them. No. I’m literally talking about Kristen Stewart’s biceps.”

In the interview, the actress also talks about playing the protagonist Bella Swan in Twilighta role that gave her global prominence, making her one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood during the series’ production years.
