Singer Doja Gatto announced during an interview for the program Therapeutic geckoheld on the Twitch platform, which will soon release the deluxe version of the album Scarlet.
The material will contain 7 or 8 additional tracks and will be called Scarlet 2: Claude Frollo.
Doja Cat revealed why the work is named after the antagonist of The hunchback of Notre Dame.
“BECAUSE HE IS A TYRANT […] I feel like it connects to the story of ‘Scarlet’ somehow. If you look at her personality and her mannerisms and understand who she is in the story, you understand the whole connection. There’s an aspect of control, he just abuses his power, his control of her and is very dogmatic.”
It is worth mentioning that the album Scarlet was released in 2023 and contains hits Paint the town red AND Now Hills.
