Believe me: the bullet that killed John Lennon is going up for auction

Incredible as it may seem, the bullet that killed former Beatle John Lennon (1940-1980) goes to auction this Thursday (29th), at England. The information comes from CNN Brazil.

According to the publication, the artifact was a gift from New York Police Department (USA) to the local police officer Brian TyalorIn Northumbria. He had permission from the NYPD to fire the pistol with the above bullet during a visit to the department.

This same weapon was used by Mark David Chapmanthe perpetrator of the murder, who fulfills life sentence.

The artifact will be auctioned at the house Anderson and Garland and its genuineness has already been demonstrated.
