Catch fire start a successful contract with Island records by the manufacturer Chris Blackwellthat helped Bob Marley at a time when they were supporting a tour by Johnny Nash, who moved to the United States, leaving the group in financial vulnerability. Blackwell helped financially the Complainerswhich he returned to Jamaicato register yours first album.
In all, Catch fire has 9 songs, two of which were written by Peter Tosh (1944-1987). With all the recorded material, Bob Marley returned to UK to whom the recorded tapes of the album should be delivered Island records.
