Gal Costa’s company accumulates debts of R$738 thousand

Among the actions are ISS (service tax) debts, institution inspection fee and social security

The company GMC Produções Artísticas, owned by the singer Gal Costa and his former manager and widow, Wilma Petrilloit accumulates approximately R$738 thousand in taxesaccording to a survey carried out by UOLwho gained access to details of debts at the Attorney General’s Office of the National Treasury, the City of São Paulo and the State Court of Justice.

The report analyzed collection processes and identified debts owed to the Union and the City of São Paulo. Among the actions are ISS (service tax), establishment inspection fee and social security debts.

According to the data, social security debts amount to R$188,401.79, according to the National Treasury, while debts to the City of São Paulo amount to R$549,861.79 as of March 1, 2023. Furthermore, there are two pending debts at the Court of Justice of São Paulo relating to the waste collection fee: one of R$21 thousand in 2021 and another of R$24 thousand in 2023.

Among the assets left by Gal to his only son, Gabriel Costa, the most valuable is a property, purchased for R$5 million in 2020, in the Jardins neighborhood, in the capital of São Paulo.

Wilma, who lived with Gal Costa for more than 20 years, is in court fighting over the singer’s inheritance and custody of Gabriel.

Recently Wilma requested the opening of an inventory of the singer’s assets and recognition of their stable union. The information was released by Leo Dias. The two lived together for more than 20 years. Gal left a legacy estimated at approximately R$30 million.
