The investigation took into account a series of videos, witness statements and forensic examinations sent by the artist
Naiara Azevedo proved she was assaulted by her ex-husband, Raphael Cabral, with a series of dossiers, witness statements and a forensic examination. The entrepreneur was sent to trial for the crimes of personal injury and psychological violence against the farmer.
The information was confirmed this Monday (4/3) by the Communication Management of the Civil Police of Goiás (PCGO). The material presented as evidence was sufficient to understand that Naiara was the victim of several crimes committed by her ex-husband.
“The Civil Police of Goiás, through the Specialized Assistance Station for Women of the State Police, concluded the investigations relating to the Naiara Azevedo case with an indictment. The police investigation was sent to the Judiciary on February 22” , the department said.
Investigation
According to columnist Gabriel Perline, fundamental to Raphael’s accusation were the testimonies of witnesses who lived with the former couple, as well as a video recorded by Naiara in which the businessman appears to hit her hand while using the mobile phone.
Delegate Caroline Matos Barreto, of the Police Station Specialized in Assistance to Women (DEAM), also evaluated the victim’s words before confirming that the businessman had “hurt, threatened and physically attacked” her on July 7 2023.
“The materiality and paternity of the crimes were proven by declarations (which are given particular importance), as well as by an expert opinion on corpus delicti, indirect ‘personal injuries’ and testimonies of indirect witnesses to the fact”, declared the delegate, who he mailed the indictment late last month.
So far Raphael Cabral has not commented on the case.
