Scarlet Seixas paid tribute to her father with an image taken in 1975
Scarlet Seixas, one of the singer-songwriter’s three daughters Raúl Seixas (1945-1989), published a rare photo of his father on a Facebook profile. The photo, which dates back to 1975, shows Raul dressed in a blue tunic surrounded by the family of his then wife, the American Gloria Vaquer, Scarlet’s mother.
In addition to Gloria and her brothers, the person who appears in the photo is a Brazilian singer Jane Dubocknown for hits like Flame of passion, Dreams AND Bésame. Jane was married to Raul’s brother-in-law, guitarist Jay Vaquer (Gay, actually). The singer and musician are parents of singer Jay Vaquer – he appears in the photo, on Jane’s lap.
Raul and Gloria were married between 1974 and 1978. She, who had changed her name to Sky Keys in recent years, died recently, in January this year, of cancer, aged 74.
