The ‘Marias’ project brings together the biggest names in national gospel

A completely new project, Mary brings together relevant artists of the segment gospel to sing the main dramas, challenges and pains of today’s women.

The name refers directly to the woman who was, among many, chosen by God to give birth to Christ, the Savior. Mary He was an example of courage, strength, faith and obedience to God and is, still today, a great reference for men and women all over the world.

Created and directed by Alex Passosthe project is hosted by the singer Nai Lopes which receives names like Ana Paula Valadão, Damares, Bruna Karla, Fernanda Brum, Soraya Moraes, Mariana Valadão AND Daniela Araújo among other singers.

I am 10 songs, recorded in audio and video, and each of them portrays a specific theme related to female pain. Themes such as domestic violence, harassment, abusive relationships, child abuse, betrayal, self-esteem and depression are part of the repertoire written and performed by women of different ages, profiles, personalities and musical styles.

With this project, Alex Passosaims, through art, to give voice to the struggles women face and generate reflection on female theme in church and in society in the perspective that Christ has for women, who must be respected, supported, loved and valued.

“Marias was born from a clear indication from God to create a project to cure women’s pain and, above all, to bring comfort to women who have gone through and are going through different situations on a daily basis and who often experience very sad consequences generated by these situations. Marias is a hug for all women, Christian and non-Christian”explains the director who is also the creator of successful projects such as that of bands Black in white AND Trilo.

The first song was released that day March 7 on all digital platforms and has the participation of Ana Paula Valadao. From then on the public will be able to follow the release of one song per week.
