The Swedish group created a ‘franchise’ of cover bands called The B-Hives, The Main Offenders and The Hives Fives
O The Hives announced the first tour of its cover band franchise. Last year, the Swedes encouraged fans to sign up to take part in the project. “The franchise The Hives needs you”, the group announced on social media. “We have reached the point where the The Hives cannot keep up with public demand for shows.”
“This is where you come in. Help us create a world where The Hives plays in every city, all the time. Let’s do business and rock’n’roll together,” he continued. “Sign up and register your interest. Many rewards are waiting for you in the store.”

Last Tuesday, the 19th, “Franqu-Hives” was confirmed. “The Hives franchised! As the first band in the world to do this, we split into several due to the eternal and insatiable demand for shows from hives“, they wrote on social media.

“We are happy to share news about our first Franqu-Hives shows,” they continued. “Get ready for this fantastic representation of The Hives by other people, those who attend our shows in Nottingham, Brighton and Manchester. You, the audience, came forward to play before and after the shows. The Hives as a beginning of what will certainly be a globally successful and everlasting business model.”
The band highlighted, however, that they will not be present at the franchise’s performances, but will continue to perform according to the sold-out show schedule.
