Following the format of Rhythm and flowan American reality show focusing on rap singers, New scene is the first Brazilian musical reality show in Netflix. The program, already in the recording phase, will reveal new talents from the urban music scene of Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo.
The program will focus on discovering the new name of the trap AND rap music Brazilian. Participants will compete against each other and the winner will take home R$500,000, as well as participate in the fifth season of To tunethe original Brazilian platform series.
Djonga, Filipe Ret and Tasha & Tracie will be the judges of the reality show. The presentation of New scene it will be made by rapper Kamau and directed by Cacá Marcondes. The co-direction is by Fábio Ock and Maristela Mattos.
The program is produced by Endemol Shine Brasil, responsible for the production and distribution of programs such as Masterchef, The Masked Singer, Big Brother Brazil AND Blind marriage.
