Singer LIzzo made a point of saying it he won’t give up music after writing a desperate post on Instagram.
A hitmaker In Speaking of damn time posted a video on his official Instagram account to clear up any confusion created by a recent post in which he stated: “I quit”.
Many fans of the singer interpreted that she was saying goodbye to the music industry. In the message she stated that she would no longer worry about the criticism she received.
“I wanted to make this video because I just need to clarify when I say, ‘I’ve given up,’ I mean I’ve stopped paying attention to any negative energy,” started Lizzo. “What I won’t give up is the joy of my life, which is making music and connecting with people. And I know I’m not alone. I’m far from the only person who experiences that negative voice that is louder than the positive.”
Lizzo was accused of sexual harassment and promote a toxic work environment and was sued on both of these grounds.
