Paralamas do Sucesso collaborates with Doctors Without Borders in an advertising campaign

The International Medical-Humanitarian Organization Doctors Without Borders (MSF) launches the advertising campaign this Saturday (6). Love without limits, Care without borders with music Take care of your loveof the Paralamas do Success. The film’s soundtrack is part of an unprecedented partnership between the organization and one of the biggest Brazilian rock groups, formed by Herbert Vianna, Bi Ribeiro AND João Barone.

This is it is the first time that a national success has been part of an MSF campaignwhich has already broadcast other films well appreciated by the public with songs Everybody hurts (Wait)of the North American band REMAND Fix youby the English Coldplay. The campaign will be shown for the first time during the Paralamas show, this Saturday (6), at St. Paul.

For Baronthe drummer of the band, it’s very exciting to have one of the band’s songs Mudguards in the organization’s campaign: “Doctors Without Borders is a recognized institution and hearing Brazilian music – our music – in the film is chilling. Knowing that ‘Cuide Bem do Seu Amor’ will serve such a beautiful and noble cause makes us feel very privileged,” he explains. “I believe the song will be given a new meaning through this partnership. I am sure the action will inspire many people to donate, participate and have that humanitarian spirit which is so important, right!?”, he completes.

And the song’s chorus, about caring for anyone, seems tailor-made for him MSF: “I would say that the basic principle of love is very broad and has no rules, barriers or limits. It is a kind of attitude that you have towards each other,” States Herbert Viannasinger and composer of the lyrics of “Cuide Bem do Seu Amor”.

Present in the film, Marlene Monteirodonor of MSF since 2015 he has been in tune with the meaning that music has given to the campaign. In her statement, she states that being an MSF donor is like giving away your love to people in some way: “Knowing that I’m helping to take care of children’s health, to treat an injury, an illness of someone I don’t even know. It’s like spreading my feeling into the world”accounts.

This campaign is also very special for the organization: “The MSF team is very excited to launch the partnership with Os Paralamas. We are fans of the band and see a very strong connection between the music and the work of the organization. We thank the band for granting the rights to use the song. Without a doubt, ‘Take Care of Your Love’ brought an emotion to the film that will engage audiences even more.”explains Leanne Nealedirector of fundraising for MSF.

In addition to checking out the film’s premiere, anyone going to the trio’s show this Saturday (6), at Unified Space In St. Paulyou will have the opportunity to participate in other specials MSF.

The campaign will also be shown at shows during the band’s tour.
