Yoko Ono would have ‘taught’ John Lennon how to use heroin, says book

Widow of the former Beatle would have been responsible for introducing heroin to Lennon as “a wonderful feeling”, says excerpt from new work about the Liverpool quartet

Yoko Ono would have been responsible for presenting heroin The John Lennon. At least that’s what the actress said in the book All You Need is Lovenew work on the Beatles.

According to an excerpt from the work, published in The Sunday TimesLennon’s widow, now 91, reportedly “sniffed” the drug in Paris and reported the experience to Lennon as “a wonderful feeling.”

The movement would have brought people close to Lennon – including George Harrison – blaming Yoko for “getting” John into heroin. The artist defended herself, saying that her husband “would never prove anything unless he wanted to”.

According to the excerpt published by The Sunday Times, Ono would have said that it was Lennon who asked her about the drug. “He wanted to take it, that’s why he was asking,” she reported, reinforcing that the pair never injected heroin.

Yoko Ono was asked about the topic by the magazine Peoplebut did not respond to contact attempts.
