Everything is mastered! Rock in Rio will open with funk, rap and trap on the main stages


The shows of Ludmilla and MC Cabelinho have been confirmed on the first day of the festival, which will also see the participation of Travis Scott, Matuê and Orachi

Rock in Rio announced this Wednesday (4/10) that the first day of this year’s edition will celebrate Brazilian rap, trap and funk. Ludmilla will perform on the Mundo stage, while MC Cabelinho and Coral das Favelas will be the main attractions on the Sunset stage, which this year will be the same size as the main stage.

In addition to Ludmilla, the Mundo stage will also welcome the already confirmed Matuê (with Teto and Wiu), 21 Savage and Travis Scott on September 13th.

The Sunset Stage will open with the Funk Orquestra, in a show that promises to mix funk and classical music, with the participation of MC Daniel, Rebecca and MC Soffia. The program of this space will also include Veigh and Keylack, Orachi with Chefin and another guest not revealed so far.

Finally, DJ Snake, a French artist known for mixing hip hop and electronic music, will perform on the New Dance Order stage.

The Festival starts on September 13th and will last until the 22nd in Cidade do Rock, in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro. General ticket sales begin May 23 on the Ticketmaster website. The exclusive presale for Rock in Rio Club and Itaú customers will take place from May 14th to 22nd.
