BBB | Ludmilla brings Beatriz’s slogan to the Coachella Festival

Funkeira mentioned “Brasil do Brasil” during a performance at the largest pop music festival in the United States

Brazilian singer Ludmilla made history at the Coachella Festival this Sunday (4/14). But she also helped Beatriz Reis, of “BBB 24,” share her moment.

Social media at the event were keen to point out that Ludmilla gave the first performance by an Afro-Latin artist at the largest pop music festival in the United States. And she said it in Portuguese.

The show was immediately opened by the recording of the voice of none other than Beyoncé, who introduced Ludmilla to the American public. There was also a recording of Congresswoman Erica Hilton, who reaffirmed the necessary respect for the diversity represented by the star. And she continued, blow after blow.

In the middle of the show, Ludmilla let out a “Brasil do Brasil”, Beatriz’s catchphrase in the reality show Globo, and the audience’s enthusiastic reaction to the phrase indicates that many Brazilians came to see the show.

The reference to reality occurred during the performance of “Maldives”, in which the singer danced with his wife – and former BBB member – Brunna Gonçalves. The two became fans of Beatriz after the funk singer performed at “BBB 24,” right at the start of the season.
