Slipknot plays first show with new drummer, possibly Eloy Casagrande

Fans speculate that the band’s new member is Eloy Casagrande, from Sepultura

O Slipknot announced a last-minute show in California and performed this Thursday, the 25th. Videos and images of the intimate performance soon emerged, and fans began speculating about the new drummer again.

The group also surprised the audience by taking the stage wearing red jumpsuits and masks typical of 1999, as part of the band’s 25th anniversary celebration. The frontman Corey Taylor said during the show: “Tonight it doesn’t matter where you come from, it doesn’t matter when you were born. This year is 1999. We’re going to play some songs that go beyond that year, but damn, it all started in 1999 and it’s starting again here this night”.

Although they have not officially released the name of the new drummer, internet users believe that Eloy Casagrandeof Gravefilled the vacancy left by Jay Weinberg:
