Eloy Casagrande admits he is Slipknot’s new drummer and appears characterized: ‘Unthinkable’; I wait


The metal band also released a publication officially celebrating the Brazilian’s arrival in the band; he left Sepultura in February

After rumors that he would be the metal band’s new drummer, Sliding knot, Eloy Casagrande presumed membership of the group. Also this Tuesday 30th Slipknot officially celebrated the Brazilian’s arrival and published a photo of Eloy dressed in the band’s famous red tracksuit and mask.

“A very emotional moment. Unthinkable until then,” the musician described in a post published on Instagram. “There is nothing to lose, there is nothing to gain. There is only living. We are here as one.”

The musician thanked Slipknot and the group’s fans, called “maggots”. “See you on the road, my Slipknotos,” he concluded, citing the band’s current tour, which celebrates the album’s 25th anniversary Sliding knot, Here’s the pain.

Rumors that the Brazilian would be the new member of the group began to gain strength after the band’s performance at the Pappy + Harriet bar in the United States on the 25th. The show was the first with the current drummer.

Eloy became known as the drummer for Sepultura, the country’s biggest heavy metal band, which he joined in 2011, at the age of 20. The announcement of the musician’s departure shortly before the band’s farewell tour caught fans and even the group by surprise in February.
