Based on the book of the same name, the feature film starring David Bowie shows the troubled adolescence of Christiane Felscherinow
Me, Christiane F., 13 years old, Drugged, Prostituted(Christiane F. – Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo) will be re-released in a remastered copy to celebrate 40 years of German drama. In Brazil, the film will be distributed by A2 Films and hits national cinemas soon.
The controversial 1981 film shows the troubled adolescence of Christiane Felscherinowbased on his eponymous book, with the collaboration of Kai Hermann and Horst Rieck. The feature has the special participation of the musician and actor David Bowie (Labyrinth, the Magic of Time and The big trick).

with direction of Uli Edel (Rough Nights in Brooklyn and Body in Evidence) and script of Herman Weigel, the film is set in 1970s Berlin, where a teenager becomes addicted to heroin. Everything in her life begins to distort and slowly fades away as she befriends a small group of addicts and falls in love with a drug addict.
Synopsis
Christiane is a 14 year old girl living in Berlin, Germany in the mid 1970’s. She starts going to a club called “Sound” with her older friend Kessi. She soon makes new friends, most of whom are drug addicts, and falls in love with a boy named Detlev, who is also a drug addict and prostitute. Christiane starts taking pills to fit in and then starts taking heroin. Her life starts to fall apart when she becomes a heroin addict and sees the same happening to her friends.
The cast has David Bowie, Natja Brunckhorst, Thomas Haustein, Eberhard Auriga, Peggy Bussieck, Lothar Chamski, Rainer Woelk and Uwe Diderich.
