Lulu Santos felt ill on Friday afternoon (7/6), at her home in Rio de Janeiro. According to a note released by the 71-year-old artist’s consultants, he has been admitted to the Clínica São Vicente and will remain under observation for the next 48 hours. “The singer is under medical treatment and his health is stable.”
Cancellation of shows
Because of what happened, Lulu Santos’ performances this weekend have been cancelled. The organizers of João Rock confirmed the cancellation and wished the singer a speedy recovery. “Lulu Santos will not be performing this Saturday at Palco Brasil and we wish her a speedy recovery.”
