Andreia Andrade, the ex-wife of singer Nahim, provided new details about the artist’s alleged incident last Thursday (13/6). The influencer said that they lived together until recently and that the artist had just moved into the residence.
“I was maritally separated. He lived in my house. That night was the first night he spent there,” said Andreia, who also explained that the move took months due to Nahim’s demands for the new property.
The 1st Police District (DP) is investigating the causes of death, however his ex-wife believes that Nahim had a “sudden illness” which caused him to accidentally fall down the stairs of the house. Andreia says that the singer took sleeping pills that directly affect consciousness.
“In my heart I want to believe that it was a sudden illness. But it could have been a fall. He was taking sleeping pills and they undermine a person’s conscience. I think he took a sleeping pill, he must have unbuttoned his trousers like a Imagine that for a “sleepy” person, going up and down the stairs was normal, all our houses have stairs. It just changed the scenery, the house,” he said.
In the coming days, authorities will need to interview witnesses, including friends and family, and analyze security camera footage to confirm the cause of Nahim’s death. The IML (Forensic Medical Institute) report must be ready within 30 days.
