Led by a band of seven artists, the setlist will have enough Blues Deluxe Vol. 2which features songs like “Well, I Done Got Over It,” “I Want To Shout About It” It is “Twenty-Four Hour Blues.”

In fact, the singer’s latest studio album began work about six months before its official release. There was so much excitement in the production of the new project that he immediately wanted to implement it in live performances.

And the Black Country Communion, huh?

Another successful project in the career of Joe Bonamassa it’s the band Black Country Communionalso formed by Glenn Hughes, Jason Bonham It is Derek Sherinian. Recently, the musical group released their fifth studio album, titled Von June 14, 2024.

The artist manages to balance his solo career well with his work in a band. With his own songs, he invests time at all times, “practically 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” while with Black Country Communion “We work whenever there is a leap year and a comet.”

If it’s a leap year and there’s a celestial comet passing through the galaxy, that tends to signal to us that we need to work on something. We hadn’t recorded in seven or eight years. Now the album is out and we’re ready to work.

In mid-2025, the group will tour Europe, with dates reserved for festivals and solo performances. Bonamassa he appears to be truly passionate about the group and was full of praise for his bandmates.

“The new album is great. Glenn He is a freak of nature, he has no equal when it comes to singing. Jason is the best rock drummer in the world, in my opinion and the opinions of others. Derek He’s the best rock keyboard player in the world. It’s not my opinion. He belongs to everyone,” he stated.

Few supergroups are the sum of their best. We finish each other’s sentences and it’s fun. And we are all older and calmer. There is no pressure now. Who cares?

Back to Blues Deluxe Vol. 2

The title of his last studio album Joe Bonamassa is a continuation of one of the first classics of his career: Blues Deluxereleased in 2003. His main motivation for undertaking this project was “to prove something to myself.”

“20 years ago, I was a different guitarist, a different singer, a different artist. I just wanted to ask the question, ‘Am I as good now as I was 20 years ago? Am I better now? Am I worse?’ Sometimes you have to accept those answers,” he explained. “I’m a much better singer now than I was 20 years ago and a much more complete artist.” In fact, the artist credited this evolution to two people, Kevin Shirley (music producer and engineer) and Beth Heart (singer-songwriter), and two bands, Black Country Communion It is Rock Candy Funk Party.

Everything leads you to the artists you are today. It’s not one-dimensional. Now it’s much more engaging and much more musically and metaphorically complex.

With a repertoire of solo studio albums and collaborations with acclaimed blues-rock bands, Joe Bonamassa come to Best of Blues and Rock in one of the shows that promise to be one of the highlights of the 2024 edition.

The talent is also added to the expectations of the fans, especially those who are very active on social media: “Well, I want to send a message to the Brazilian fans on Instagram: you finally got your damn wish! ‘Come to Brazil.’ Alright, we’re here. Now show up. [risos].”

I’m happy to be back after 11 years. I hope it doesn’t take 11 years to come back. It’s always good to come. It’s awesome to come because I’m a kid from upstate New York. And it’s incredible how I played in my room 35/40 years ago and managed to get here, where we can play three shows in Brazil.
