The lawsuit, filed in California on Thursday, is the second lawsuit filed against the DJ and producer in recent years for releasing sexual recordings
DJ and music producer Diplo is the target of a federal lawsuit filed in California on Thursday, 26, by an unidentified woman who accuses him of distributing revenge pornography, according to information released by Vanity Fair. According to the lawsuit, she began communicating with Diplo, whose real name is Thomas Wesley Pentzvia Snapchat in April 2016, when she was 21, and they exchanged pornographic images for two months.
Diplo and the woman began having sexual relations, according to the lawsuit, and their relationship lasted until October 2023, a month before she learned that the celebrity was distributing images and videos of their sexual encounters without her knowledge or consent.
The lawsuit is the second of its kind filed in recent years against Diplo. According to what she claimed, she informed the Pentz that she did not want him to record her sexual activities without her consent or distribute images or videos to third parties. In November last year, another woman she didn’t know at the time approached her and said she had images and videos of the two of them having sex. The woman said she received the materials from Diplo via Snapchat in October 2018. The suit claims that Diplo has continued to distribute intimate images and videos to this day. The DJ’s representatives did not comment on the case.
