The concept of “Minuto de Saudade” carries references to the circus since it is a dream of João Lucas
Bruna Marquezine made her debut as a director in the music video of João Lucas, husband of her best friend, Sasha Meneghel. The information was revealed by the singer, who shared a video in which the artist directs the set of “Minuto de Saudade”.
In the album Bruna appears very dedicated to her work, giving advice on poses and acting tips in the music video. According to the singer, she developed the concept with references to the circus after discovering that her colleague dreamed of owning a riding stable as a child.
“Directed by my friend, sister, sister-in-law, Bruna Marquezine. Thank you Bru, for your dedication and for embracing this dream so beautifully,” João wrote in the caption of the behind-the-scenes Instagram post.
The artists were also thrilled with the result of the recordings: “We delivered,” celebrated João. “We delivered,” Bruna replied. “How was the first clip?” she asks. “It was wonderful, [a direção] It was a wonderful experience. Thank you again. I hope you enjoy it because it was delicious to make. Thank you,” the director concluded.
“Minuto de Saudade” will be available on digital platforms this Tuesday (16/7), starting at 9:00 p.m., while the music video directed by the artist will only be released on Wednesday (17/7) at noon.
This is not Bruna Marquezine’s first experience behind the camera, as she also directs “O Amor da Minha Vida”, a new Disney+ streaming series that will star names such as Sérgio Malheiros, Bruno Montaleone, Sophia Abrahão, Malu Rodrigues, among others. The production does not yet have a release date.
