Tickets go on sale this Friday the 19th and the shows will feature members of the original lineup
The Smashing Pumpinks band returns to Brazil for two shows, in Brasilia and Sao Paulo, on November 1 and 3, respectively. The Americans are one of the main names in alternative rock and take the country on tour The Word is a vampire!in reference to one of the band’s hits, Bullet with butterfly wings.
The tour is even more anticipated as it reunites three members of the original lineup, Billy Corgan, James Iha AND Jimmy Chamberlin.
In their repertoire they promise to bring this and other hits that were successful in the 90s in a two-hour show: Today, 1979, tonight, tonight, zero AND Perfect. According to the producers responsible for the presentations, Balaclava and Music On Events, the opening of ticket sales for São Paulo will begin on Friday 19th, at 10am, on the Tickets On website. There is no information yet on the sale in Brasilia.
In the capital São Paulo the show will take place at the Espaço Unimed, while in the Federal District it will be at the Arena BRB Nilson Nelson.
