Britney Spears was the subject of the podcast The Osbournes. During a recent episode, Ozzy said: “I’m sick of seeing the poor old woman Britney Spears dancing on YouTube every day. It’s sad, very sad” (via NME).
The wife of the frontman of black Sabbath, Sharon Osbournealso lamented: “Poor little creature.” Jack Osbourneone of the couple’s sons, added: “Very sad indeed.”
Spears reacted in a post on Instagram, drawing a parallel with criticism directed at the actress Kate Beckinsale:
