Lulu Santos was one of the artists chosen to be awarded in this year’s edition of Latin Grammys. The artist will receive the award in the category “musical excellence”, as announced on Thursday 18 by the organization of the award.
The awards ceremony will take place on November 10, before the official awards ceremony.
“A talented musician, singer and composer, Lulu has distinguished herself in more than fifty years of career, embracing different styles and genres. Innovative and creative, Lulu has found new sounds with her talent and has positioned herself as one of the great figures of the Brazilian music scene,” the Academy announced on social media.
On September 21st Lulu will be one of the attractions of Rock in Rio the same day as Ivete Sangalo, John, Ludmila, Luisa Sonza, Glory Groove AND Duda Beat on the sunset stage. There are still tickets available for the exclusive day for Brazilian artists.
