Singer Ney Matogrosso82 years old, he had to cancel his performance on Sunday night, the 28th, at the Penedo Winter Festival, in the southern region of the state of Rio de Janeiro.
The cancellation was communicated to the public on Sunday morning, through the social networks of Sesc Rio, the organizer of the event. Ney’s show was replaced by a performance by the singer and songwriter Adriana Calcanhotto.
To the Statearound 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, Ney said he had had severe vomiting and diarrhea and had to go to a doctor in the hospital. After tests were carried out, according to the singer, it was found that he had a virus. Treated, he returned home.
“I’m already fine. I’m eating and I have no symptoms,” Ney told the reporter.
Ney will perform on August 10th at Allianz Parque, in Sao Paulo. He will show the public his show Block on the roadwith whom he has been touring Brazil since 2019.
