In April, the rapper celebrated the sixth anniversary of her debut album, Invasion of privacyand said his new job would be “so different from what everyone expects”. Since then, he has kept fans in suspense regarding the release.
This weekend, Cardi B responded to a fan’s comment on X (formerly Twitter), confirming that the album covers have already been chosen, although she’s still deciding which one to use. The rapper also pranked her followers by promising to post the album cover if a fan found an Hermès bag they were looking for.
Cardi also shared personal news, revealing that she is pregnant with her husband’s third child offsetwith whom she recently filed for divorce for the second time. She was recently hospitalized due to a “bizarre accident”which nearly caused her to lose her baby. In a conversation on X Spaces, Cardi explained that the incident was serious, but did not go into specific details of what happened.
Back in July, Cardi gave fans hope that her new, as-yet-untitled album would be released by the end of the year. She said in a message to fans: “Sometimes I get a little aggressive because you know I don’t like being told what to do, but I promise it will happen THIS YEAR. Thank you for your love and expectation and for always supporting me. I love you.”
