The music video was released as part of the album release “Short n’ Sweet”
Sabrina Carpenter released her new album, “Short n’ Sweet,” this Friday (8/23), which includes her recent megahits and new songs. To celebrate the news, the singer released the music video for “Taste,” starring none other than Jenna Ortega (“Wandinha”).
In the video, the two have a big rivalry because they are interested in the same person. “I heard you guys got back together and if it’s true, you’ll taste me when he kisses you,” Sabrina sings in the chorus of the song.
To illustrate the text, the celebrities seem to brutally fight against each other because of macho. The scenes are really bloody. Jenna sets Sabrina on fire, cuts off her arm, throws her out the window and impales her on a white fence, electrocutes her… and of course the singer takes revenge. Until, at a certain point, they give up their disagreement to devote themselves to a sapphic romance.
