The artist revealed that fatherhood made him evaluate his lifestyle in several aspects
MC Ryan SP has revealed that he has rethought the lyrics of some songs since the birth of little Zoe, the fruit of his relationship with Giovanna Roque. In a conversation with Quem, the funk singer explained that fatherhood has changed his view of the world, including the flaunting of women and money.
“I’m going in a certain direction, changing certain things,” said Ryan, who is reevaluating how she refers to other women. “I was telling [MC] IG. I’m a father of a girl, so sometimes I say certain things in the lyrics that… I mean, in the future, I’ll change some lines. It takes away, maybe, a kind of focus that I have.”
The artist also clarified that he is changing other aspects of his personal life: “I was a very crazy man. In the past I lived only at parties, in clubs, spending a lot and doing various things. Today I can’t wait to finish the show, go home and see my daughter there sleeping and waiting for me”.
First time dad
In January, MC Ryan announced a temporary career hiatus to focus on her newborn daughter, taking advantage of a time when she didn’t have a busy schedule. “I don’t want to miss the first moments. […] I want to be there for the first shower and the first things. […] One day you will become parents and you will understand the importance of being there for your child,” she said.
“I may be the crazy person you see here, I may or may not be with my daughter’s mother, but my commitment as a father will never fail. My daughter will come first. If there are ten shows and my daughter is sick, I will not go to the ten shows.”
However, the funk musician did not wait to complete a week of fatherhood and went with his friends to Neymar’s cruise, where he enjoyed the vacation for a few days. During this period Giovanna Roque regrets the rush of her routine as a mother. He seems intent on redeeming himself and abandoning the title of “King of the Flock”.
