The strategy seeks to solve the problem of long and time-consuming queues at the food courts, making life easier for fans who go to enjoy the shows at Cidade do Rock, Rio de Janeiro. Fans will also be able to rent a locker to leave their belongings during the show.

The 2024 edition marks the 40 Years of Rock in Rio. It will be held on September 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21 and 22 2024, for a total of more than 500 hours of music. Check out how purchasing drinks and food through the app will work below.
How to buy
- Through the official Rock In Rio app, fans will be able to choose what to eat and drink before arriving at the venue. Pay attention to the times: it is possible to make purchases before and on the day of the party, until noon. After the gates open, no purchases via the app will be permitted.
- Payment in the app can be made by credit card or PIX and, if the collection is not made on the days of the shows, the amount will be refunded using the same model as the purchase made automatically.
- There will be 29 options, including combinations and singles, from Heineken®, Coca-Cola, Red Bull, Schweppes Mixed and Bob’s.
Removing objects
- To redeem the purchase at Cidade do Rock, the fan will have to show a QR Code to street vendors or in one of the preferred queues at Rock in Rio food outlets.
- If the collection is not made on the days of the shows, the amount will be refunded using the same model as the purchase made automatically.
Food options
- Bob’s will be the food option available on the app with four different trios, combos or units of products. Among the options, Bob’s will have the Big Rock – the official burger of Rock in Rio 2024 made with two beef patties, cheese, Big Bob’s original sauce, on a hot sesame seed bun –, Franlitos, Australian Cheddar, Milk Shake, draft beer. and refrigerator.
Drinks
- Soft drink options available for purchase include: Coca-Cola Original and Sugar Free, Matte Leão Natural and with Lemon, Crystal Water, Heineken 0.0 draft beer and energy drinks.
- Alcoholic drinks will be Heineken draft beer and drinks such as Schweppes Mixed Gin Tonica, Schweppes Mixed Gin Tonica Pink, Schweppes Mixed Vodka Citrus and Schweppes Mixed Spritz.
Cabinet and other news
- Fans will also be able to rent a locker through the app to store their belongings. Through the app, you will be able to check the event schedule and program, as well as access Rock in Rio Club information, such as early entry, lounge access, test event entry, among others.
How to get to Cidade do Rock?
- MetrôRio will operate under a special regime. The Jardim Oceânico/Barra da Tijuca station, an integration terminal with the BRT Rock in Rio Special Service, will be open 24 hours a day for boarding.
- The other stations in the system will operate with normal boarding hours and, in the early morning hours, will remain open, but only for disembarkation.
- Metrô Rio also recommends purchasing tickets in advance from the concessionaire, which cost R$7.50 each way.
