Suggestive moments from the last Fest Delas event
The first edition of Festival of the It was full of memorable moments. In addition to the memorable and flawless performances, the atmosphere of unity, belonging and freedom captivated everyone present. “All the women who participated said that it was one of the best experiences of their lives, that they had never felt so welcomed, respected and comfortable on a stage. It was impressive to see a group of powerful women exchange that strength and energy”, celebrate Gabi.
One such moment happened during the band’s show. The voice of Sagewho has done his job first 100% original show during the festival. The band was participating in a virtual vote to open singer Marina Sena’s show, and the audience, artists and organization rallied to get everyone to vote for the band, who eventually won the contest and opened the show the following month.
The creator also fondly recalls a situation that would have been more tense if it weren’t for the sisterly atmosphere. She ended up losing her voice shortly before the show itself, but the other artists supported her and sang and performed a few songs with her.
The most touching moment was when everyone joined the composer to sing Cansa, a feminist anthem composed by her and recorded by Luh Livia. Everyone sang a verse and, on that occasion, one of the artists, to reassure Gabihe unwittingly coined the event’s slogan: “Relax, darling. Our voice is yours too!”
