Titled The Great Impersonator, Halsey’s fifth studio album is scheduled for release on October 25, 2024.
Known for hits like “Closer,” “Without Me,” “Bad At Love” and “Could Have Been Me,” Halsey is preparing to release the next studio album, entitled The Great Impersonatoron October 25th on streaming platforms. About the album in question, the 29-year-old artist revealed how it was created “in the space between life and death.”
In a publication made in Twittercurrently called Xthe pop singer commented on some details of the new project. “My fifth studio album, The Great Impersonatorwill be released on October 25th,” he wrote (via People).
Additionally, the cover art shows Halsey wide-eyed and drained of color. “I made this record in the space between life and death,” he said. “And it feels like I’ve waited forever for you to have it. I’ll wait a little longer. I’ve already waited a decade.”
It is worth remembering how, on August 27, 2024, the artist shared the official trailer for The Great Impersonator on YouTube. “I really thought this album would be the last one I would make. What if I debuted in the early 2000s? In the ’90s? In the ’80s? In the ’70s?” he asks.
I still am Halsey all the time? In every timeline, do I still get sick? Do I become a mother? If it all ended now, is this a person you would be proud to leave behind? Is this yourself?
