Next Saturday (07), The weekend will perform a special show at Morumbi Stadium in Sao Paulo, which will be broadcast live on YouTube. The show will also serve as a fundraising event, with 10% of merchandise proceeds going to BrazilFoundation’s Brazil Soul Fund, which supports communities affected by natural disasters and economic hardship in southern Brazil.

The fans of The weekend have reason to celebrate: the Canadian singer has announced that his only show in Brazil, scheduled for September 7 at the MorumBIS Stadium, in São Paulo, will be broadcast live and exclusively on YouTube. This performance marks the beginning of his new tour and musical era, being his first visit to the country since his last visit last year.
After a sold-out world tour over the past two years, The weekend promises one of the most electrifying performances of his career. “I am very happy to announce that my show in Sao Paulo will be broadcast live. So everyone around the world can take part in this special evening”said the singer.
The live broadcast will take place on the artist’s official YouTube channel starting at 9:00 PM on September 7th. The weekend was one of the most viewed artists on the platform in 2024, amassing more than six billion views on his videos in the last 12 months. His 2020 album, After hoursbecame the most-streamed R&B album of all time on streaming services, followed by Starboy2016.
In addition to the show, The weekend announced that it will donate 10% of net proceeds from all merchandise sales at the event and online to the Brazil Soul Fund, part of the BrazilFoundation organization. The donation will go to communities in Rio Grande do Sul affected by natural disasters and economic hardship, with the goal of helping the most vulnerable families recover from the recent floods.
