The song “Alibi pt. II” comes out just over two months after its original release
Singer Sevdaliza released this Friday (9/6) the song “Alibi pt. II”, which marks her first collaboration with Brazilian Anitta. The new version of “Alibi” comes out a little over two months after the original song with Brazilian Pabllo Vittar and French Yseult.
In the new lyrics, Anitta emphasizes the power of female union, as well as mentioning her faith: “Like a diamond, you shine / Let go, they look at you / We are strength, energy / If you can say, then decide / I’m a mermaid and a gypsy / The energy you radiate / Nothing can stop us / I’m your soul sister.”
“I’m a bitch, I’m a saint, I’m an orixá / I don’t walk alone, I can prove it / I beat my chest, I’m not afraid / And if I do, it won’t happen” Don’t stop me / I came to bring everything together / Create my new world / You help me, I help you / You are my alibi”, the Brazilian also sings.
Currently, “Alibi” has already over 226.5 million streams on Spotify alone, remaining among the 30 most listened to songs in the world. In the charts, the original track reached the 12th position.
