With a focus on diversity, Over the Moon with Pharrell Williams set comes amid the release of the singer’s Lego-animated documentary
Pharrell Williams is the new collaborator of Lego in a collection that promises to win fans – both of the singer and of Lego. The artist signs the new collection Over The Moon with Pharrell Williamswhich reflects his fascination with space.

The set, made up of 966 pieces, will be available for sale from September 20th and consists of three parts: a spaceship with a golden visor, a colored trail and a cloud base. In addition, it features a wide range of skin tones, the largest released by Lego to date, with 51 minifigure heads, 30 exclusive to the collection.
“This partnership aims to inspire creativity and inclusion. I want everyone to feel seen and to feel that they have the ability to imagine their own stories. The spaceship is about to take off and you are the one who will pilot it,” said the artist.

The collaboration also extends to Pharrell’s non-profit foundation, YELLOWfor the benefit of equal educational opportunities for children.

With no details about sales in Brazil yet, the Lego set Over The Moon with Pharrell Williams can be purchased from the 20th on the Lego website, for 109.99 euros.

The spaceship isn’t the only recent collaboration between Williams and Lego. It comes days after the premiere of Piece by Piecea Lego-animated biopic of the singer. The film premiered last weekend at Telluride Film Festivalfrom Corolado, in the United States, and received critical acclaim, defined by Deadline as “original, bringing freshness to the documentary format.”

Piece by Piece does not yet have a title in Portuguese. It is produced by Focus Features and carried out by Morgan Nevillewith original music by Pharrell.
