Brazilian artists nominated for the 2024 Latin Grammy appear in categories such as Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best New Artist, among others
Since the last 25 years, Latin Grammy recognizes and celebrates the main Latin American artists around the world. This Tuesday, the 17th, the awards revealed the nominees for the 2024 edition – of course, several Brazilian artists appear on the list.
In the categories dedicated to Brazilian artists and songs in Portuguese, names such as Iza, Melly, Djavan, Jota.Pê, Marisa Monte, Milton Birth and Chitaozinho & Xororó were recognized. In categories that include artists of other nationalities, Anitta appears in Recording of the Year by “A thousand times“; Xande De Pillars in Album of the Year put Xande Sings Caetano; Caca Magalhães and The Little Boys in Best New Artist; Alok in Best Performance of Latin Electronic Music; between others.
