The singer will perform the ‘Stairway to the Sky’ tour in the United States and the United Kingdom
Zayn Malik is ready to hit the road. On Tuesday, the 17th, the formerOne Direction made a surprise appearance at the The Tonight Showwhere he announced his first solo tour since leaving the boyband in 2015.
The singer interrupted the monologue of Jimmy Fallon as he emerged from behind curtains holding a mug and wearing a leather jacket. He then waved to the audience and took over the computer Fallon who was on the counter, putting on his single “Stardust” to play. The song is part of his most recent album, Room Under the Stairsreleased in May this year.
Malik exchanged his mug for Fallon and left a note for the presenter, who read it in a British accent: “Hey, Jimmygreat to see you, man. I’m going on my first tour this fall. So maybe when you get tired of apple picking with your friends, you can come check out my tour Stairway to the Sky by the United States and the United Kingdom”.
