The long-awaited fourth season of Strange things ended after nine episodes, two volumes, and a fan-favorite death. Tragically, Eddie Munson didn’t survive the season finale after sacrificing himself in Upside Down to keep distracting the Show Bats from chasing one of his friends. actor Joseph Quinn he was already a star in the cast after the flight. 1, so his character’s death in volume 2 had a particularly emotional impact. Quinn has since revealed what he’s most proud of after his time on Netflix’s success.
He has a lot to be proud of after everything he contributed as Eddie, not least the character’s climax scene. break a metallic guitar solo in reverse . However, Quinn is no longer proud that Eddie performed “Master of Puppets”, although originally I wasn’t sure if the scene would work . Speaking with Gossipify, he explained what strikes him when he looks back:
I think I’m proud to be a part of it, really. This is the main feeling. And I really enjoyed all the scenes on the set. While it was great to have that dynamic with Gaten, I loved the scenes, I loved doing it with him, but I also loved the scenes where we were a big band, because that meant we all had to be a little silly. between takes they make you laugh … You know, it’s the friendships you make [that] it actually informs your life after work, not just getting the job done, and I’ve made some good friends on that.
Eddie had a strong bond with Dustin, to the point where Dustin was the only one with him when he died in one scene. it was “strange” for the actors to film . However, Joseph Quinn shared that it wasn’t just his bond with Gaten Matarazzo that caught his eye, but the entire cast of Hawkins’ Season 4 storyline.
Hawkins’ story has had the most main characters by far, with the older teen cast consisting of Quinn’s Eddie, Natalia Dyer’s Nancy, Joe Keery’s Steve and Maya Hawke’s Robin. The younger group of teens was also in the mix, including Matarazzo as Dustin, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas and Sadie Sink. like the unfortunate Max , as well as Priah Ferguson as Erica. Quinn had plenty of time to bond and, in the actor’s words, “be silly” to be laughed at.
Considering that laughter was relatively rare in Hawkins with the heightened threat to Max’s life and the urge to kill Vecna before he could create another gate from the Upside Down, it’s easy to see why. the cameras weren’t rolling is a good memory for Joseph Quinn.
Sadly, Quinn’s Eddie will no longer be among the living in the fifth and final season, second about what the duffer brothers had to say . However, fans can hope to see the actor again.
