The successor to Holy Fvck, Demi Lovato’s ninth studio album still has no release date, but the singer gave some hints about the project
Known for hits like “Heart Attack,” “Cool for the Summer,” “Sorry Not Sorry” and “Give Your Heart a Break,” Demi Lovato is already working on her next studio album, which will be her ninth, and revealed how the public can expect themes like “love” and “sexy songs.”
During an interview with The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallonthe 32-year-old singer gave a few hints about what to expect from her upcoming album. “It’s true. I’m working on new music. I’m kind of figuring out my sound right now,” she said. “I don’t know when it’ll be out, but it will be when I’m ready.”
The presenter then asked Lovato if the album in question will be a mix of “happy songs” and “sad songs.” According to the artist, the lyrics are based on what she is experiencing at the moment in her life.
“I tend to write from where I am at the moment. Because it’s really been like… it’s been amazing,” he said. Demi Lovato. “I’ve been writing nothing but love songs and sexy songs because I’m in this great place. It’s nice to be able to write from that place.”
